12-2pm "Art of Embellishment with Katherine Lashe"

Did you ever wonder how to sew on to panties or gloves and keep them stretchy? How to sew on an appliqué to spruce up a store bought piece? How to deal with sequins, rhinestones; sew through feathers, fringe and other trims? If you answered yes to any of these questions, this class is for you! Bring any costume pieces you’d like to work on or ask questions about or just come and take notes about the example pieces being shown.

2-4pm “What’s in a Name? with Sabrina Pandora”

Work on stage names and intros with Sabrina Pandora. Students will be instructed as to how to come up with a proper persona and how to write catchy intros for an Emcee to use as their first impression. Sabrina is an accomplished stand-up comedian has been chosen to host many events all over Atlanta. She gives stellar advice for any budding performer!

ABCs & 123s Burlesque Classes are $20 each or you can by a four class pass for $60, making each class only $15, saving you $20. Workshops do have a minimum attendance requirement, so if you plan to be there please send us an email to pre-register at syrensofthesouth@gmail.com no later than 5pm the Friday before the scheduled class if you have not already prepaid for the class or if you are planning on using a class pass. All classes are intended for ages 18+, all sexes, genders and sexual preferences unless otherwise noted. There is no nudity in any of our classes or productions.
